Still no communication from HCC

We know that local people remain very interested and concerned about the future of Haven House. The trustees of Titchfield Haven Community Hub wrote to the then Executive Member Councillor Russell Oppenheimer on 10 April, emphasising the local concern, drawing attention to the fact that the For Sale notice remains in place on the building and on Savills' website and urging HCC to communicate proactively with the public.

Cllr Oppenheimer replied and said that he hoped to be able to send out an update before the end of the month (April).

Since then, as posted on this website, Cllr Oppenheimer has been removed from the role of Executive Member Countryside: https://www.hants.gov.uk/News/19042024Cabinetchanges

The trustees of THCH will write to the new Executive Member, Cllr Kirsty North on 7 May (after the local elections and the bank holiday weekend) and urge her to communicate. They will include the Cabinet Member, Cllr Nick Adams King, in that email. We will make sure that you receive any update.
